Wild bird lands in New Zealand Museum

In March 2016 at the Auckland Museum in New Zealand, a photo of a yellow-rumped warbler from the Wild Birds Flying collection appeared in an exhibit on the mechanics of bird flight. The Ornithology collections manager explained the basics of bird flight using wings, wing bones, and our 24″ by 30″ print. It’s exciting. I wish I could have made the trip to hear the story!
